FLORAL WALLPAPER
(REVIEW: Winsor & Newton’s Fine Acrylic Colours)Zoya Megan
acrylic paints
Today I have a review for Born Pretty Store’s acrylic paints. Let me just start off by saying that I have never used acrylic paints on my nails before, so I cannot compare them to any other brand, but after using these, I don’t see a reason to try anything else (yes, I like them that much). Each set comes with 12 tubes of beautiful, vibrant colors. The formula is thick, which allows for your artwork to be fully opaque in one single stroke. Plus, you know you are getting your money’s worth since a little drop of the paint certainly goes a long way.
I used these five colors to create the floral nails:
I was going for a watercolor-pastel-look, so to lighten up the colors, I mixed them up with the white. I really wanted my flowers to have that magenta-pinkish color from OPI’s Dim Sum Plum (held in picture), but some nail polishes are not thick enough to use for detailed work. With 12 different colors, you can easily get creative and mix them to get that perfect shade you desire. I had the bottle of Dim Sum Plum next to my plate for reference and I mixed the colors until I got a match. Easy! :)
Each set sells for $9.99 on www.bornprettystore.com, but with coupon code MANDIEW21, you can get a 10% discount at checkout (+ free shipping worldwide). This is definitely a steal! If you are inspired to start your own nail art, look no further. Get your set here! The also have nail art brushes that work perfectly with these paints.
